The rooms at Hostal Plaza Antigua are fantastic! The twin room I stayed in was cozy and had a lovely balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee. The cable TV was a nice bonus too. As a guest who values comfort and relaxation, this room was perfect for me.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of having a kitchen in my room, like some of the other rooms at Plaza Antigua. But hey, that's just my opinion!

Booked a room with large bathroom. This hotel was set in a central area adjacent to the Plaza as well as supermarkets and restaurants.

Treated myself to a luxurious spa session and indulged in a heavenly breakfast. The staff dotes on you and even provides airport shuttle service. The sun terrace is a delightful spot for relaxation.

Just a minor inconvenience, but I had to go to the communal area to access the WiFi. Oh, the horror!

The hotel was nice and the location was great and unbeatable not far from cafes, restaurants and the cathedral, and the cathedral and shops close by. The staff were nice, everything was great. Our room with a shared bathroom was spacious and huge with exceptionally comfortable beds...

I absolutely adored the charming and traditional decor of the hotel. The beautiful antique furniture and elegant curtains gave the place such a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I truly appreciate a well-decorated hotel that makes me feel like I'm staying in a cozy and nostalgic home. The general areas were also very well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate as I moved around. It was such a delight to be surrounded by such lovely surroundings during my stay.

The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is a more attentive and considerate staff. While the children working there were generally friendly, I believe they could benefit from being more organized and proactive.

I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful colonial building called Plaza Antigua. The rooms were spacious and the patio was a sunny and relaxing place to sit. The owner, Victor, was incredibly helpful and even took me to the hospital when I had an allergic reaction. Victor's hospitality was outstanding and made me feel at home. I highly recommend Plaza Antigua for its friendly staff and great location.

The rooms were spacious and the building had a nice historic feel to it. The location was great, right in the heart of the city and close to all the main attractions. One of the best things was the helpful and friendly staff, who went out of their way to assist us during our stay.

The staff seemed disorganized at times, forgetting about our payment and check-out status. We also experienced issues with the laundry service, as our clothes were not ready when promised.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The private room was spacious with jaw-dropping 15' ceilings and comfortable beds. The reception staff was super friendly and spoke great English. The location was fantastic, just two blocks from the central plaza, and we felt safe and secure with the buzzer entry. The hostel had a kitchen and outdoor terrace for lounging. And the icing on the cake was the private parking, making us feel confident in leaving our car overnight. Definitely coming back!

Our stay at Hostal Plaza Antigua was pleasant and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious, providing us with a good night's sleep. The hostel's location was ideal, being close to the cathedral, supermarkets, and street food places. We loved the convenience of being able to easily explore the surrounding area. The hostel has the potential to be a beautiful and historic building, and we appreciated the efforts made to restore and maintain it.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the lack of atmosphere and consistently cold showers, these were minor issues compared to the overall positive experience. We also had some concerns about the accessibility of staff during the day and the strict 10pm curfew, but these were manageable.
